Declaration for consignments carried in a leased SLR/VP under the prescribed railway rules.

[1] General Terms : (1.1) These terms govern all shipments handled by the company, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution services. (1.2) By booking a shipment, the consignor agrees to these terms and conditions in full.

[2] Liability & Claims : (2.1) The company acts as a transportation service provider and shall not be liable for loss, damage, delay, pilferage, breakage, or leakage, except as stated in these terms. (2.2) Claims for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery, along with proof of delivery remarks. (2.3) The company is not responsible for consequential losses or indirect damages due to transit delays.

[3] Volumetric Weight & Freight Calculation : (3.1) Freight charges are based on actual or volumetric weight, whichever is higher. Road Transport: (Length × Width × Height) ÷ 5000 (in cm³). Railway Transport: (Length × Width × Height) ÷ 5500 (in cm³). (3.2) If any dimension (length, width, or height) exceeds 100 cm or weight exceeds 100 kg, the freight charge will be doubled. (3.3) Freight charges must be paid in advance unless credit terms have been agreed upon.

[4] Booking & Delivery Conditions : (4.1) The sender is responsible for proper packaging and labeling of shipments. The company will not be liable for damages due to improper packaging. (4.2) The company reserves the right to refuse shipments that contain prohibited, hazardous, or illegal items. (4.3) Delivery timelines are subject to transit conditions, customs clearance, force majeure events, and operational constraints.

[5] Storage & Demurrage Charges : (5.1) If the consignee fails to collect the shipment within 1 hour of arrival, a storage fee of ₹20 per hour will be charged. (5.2) If a shipment is moved to a warehouse due to non-collection, the consignee shall bear the vehicle transfer charges.

[6] Insurance & Risk Responsibility : (6.1) The company does not provide insurance. Customers are advised to insure high-value goods independently. (6.2) Shipments are carried at the consignor's risk, unless separately insured.

[7] Right to Refuse & Inspection : (7.1) The company reserves the right to inspect any consignment for compliance with transportation regulations. (7.2) The company may refuse shipments containing perishable, hazardous, illegal, or improperly packed goods.

[8] Force Majeure : (8.1) The company shall not be held liable for delays, loss, or damages caused by natural disasters, strikes, accidents, regulatory actions, or unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.

[9] Payment Terms : (9.1) All charges must be paid in full before shipment, unless credit terms are approved. (9.2) Additional charges may apply for special handling, urgent deliveries, or storage services.

[10] Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction : (10.1) Any disputes related to logistics services shall be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai.
